The CME (Continuing Medical Education) Program is available to all currently certified NYS EMT’s and Paramedics with at least 60 days left to their certification period. NO AGENCY AFFILIATION IS REQUIRED. The didactic portion is entirely all online and done at your own pace. The Practical portion is done after all the online work is complete and is a one time in- person meeting. It involves Practical Skills Verification (not an exam), CPR Renewal and completion of required NY State paperwork. For Paramedics, the program also includes ACLS & PALS renewal. (Links will be provided for pre-course work) Once complete, all paperwork will be submitted to DoEMS for processing. Submission of the completed packet to DoEMS must be done at least 45 days prior to your provider certification expiration.
