No. There is no agency affiliation required. You can register as an individual EMT or Paramedic.
The program is split into two parts. The didactic (theory) portion is entirely online and completed at your own pace. The practical portion is a single in-person meeting held after all online work is finished.
Paramedics also receive ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) renewal as part of their CME program. Pre-course work links will be provided.
The CME Program for EMTs is $795. The CME Program for Paramedics is $995.
